Named after its ProjectArt student designer, The Hunter Mask features a design of a seated human body with flowers and a vase serving as the head to stomach and a grassy background, and is made from breathable, recycled cotton. This mask is meant to protect its wearer and others by preventing the spread of germs, while also supporting the importance of art education for our youth. These masks are sustainably produced at our atelier Bengaluru, India, which continues to support artisans during the COVID-19 crisis. All proceeds will be split between UNICEF India and ProjectArt, to ensure that arts education remains accessible during and after the pandemic.
This mask is part of the Roopa Pemmaraju x ProjectArt 2020 capsule collection. Pemmaraju has teamed up with ProjectArt, a national nonprofit that promotes art education for youth ages 4-18 in partnership with our nation’s public libraries, to produce reusable children’s face masks using original designs from ProjectArt students. Pemmaraju’s name is synonymous in the industry with ethical, individual, luxury fashion. The brand’s vision is to respect artisans and artists, giving back while creating something entirely new, beautiful and yet, unexpected.
