With contrasting geometric patterns that run throughout the whole skirt this layered skirt from the Padma collection is cut from 100% handcrafted vintage check print crepe silk.  The Padma collection is inspired by the Himalayan region of Nepal and its people, color and architecture and taking subtle influences from saris and 70's style silhouettes. This collection features fresh silhouettes with colors and prints that mimic the picturesque landscapes of Nepal. This double layered maxi skirt features clashing geometric patterns that run throughout the ruffle maxi skirt. This layered maxi skirt is handcrafted in a relaxed fit with a long length. This layered maxi skirt is designed in the USA and sustainably handcrafted in our India Atelier.

In our Atelier we only use the finest locally sourced and recycled silks and cottons to make our products. The construction process is slow with an emphasis on quality rather than quantity. We use centuries old techniques that have stood the test of time to create our unique products. These include hand embroidery, hand dying, brocade weaving, and hand block printing. These processes are carbon neutral and minimize the amount of waste, pollution, and water we use. We want to lessen the impact on the environment caused by the garment industry while supporting skilled artisans and allowing them to pass their craft to the next generation, so these traditions are not lost to time and can continue to be enjoyed.
